Storyline

SpongeBob SquarePants Season 4 is the first full post-movie season and a major transition point: Paul Tibbitt serves as showrunner, Gary gets one of the biggest emotional specials, Pearl receives a birthday story, Mrs. Puff faces replacement, and the Krusty Krab becomes a hotel, franchise, courtroom, workplace, and money trap.

This season is valuable as its own guide because the search intent is spread across memorable episodes: “Have You Seen This Snail?,” “Krusty Towers,” “Dunces and Dragons,” “Karate Island,” “Best Day Ever,” “Skill Crane,” “Wishing You Well,” “Driven to Tears,” “Rule of Dumb,” and “Squid Wood.”
